The following items are mandatory for undergraduate admission:
Photocopy of passport page showing photo, name, and birthdate (the information page).
Note: Passport must be valid for at least six months after time of travel.
Complete & Submit Online Application Form
Uploaded, complete, official academic record from ALL high schools, colleges, and/or universities, or intensive English programs, attended in the U.S. or anywhere in the world (individual semester transcripts). Failure to disclose attendance to any school may result in cancellation of admission offer.
Note: Please do not mail documents. Wright State will not return any paper records.
Official results of any of the following with minimum score as indicated:
- TOEFL - 61
- IELTS - 5.5 with no subscore lower than 5.0
- PEARSON PTE - 51
- Satisfactory completion of LEAP level 4 TOEFL Waiver Track
Note: Some colleges/programs have a higher English Proficiency requirement (see below):
- College of Engineering - Minimum TOEFL 71
- English major: Minimum TOEFL 79; Minimum IELTS 6.5 or Minimum Pearson 58
Please be advised that the minimum scores cannot be lowered.
A non-refundable $30 application fee. Application will not be processed until the application fee is paid.

SAT scores / ACT scores
You must submit the copies of your required supporting documents using our Application Portal. We no longer accept emailed, faxed, or mailed copies of your documents, test scores, personal statements and reference letters. Please keep in mind that official test scores must come directly to Wright State from the testing service. The Institution code to report your official test score for Wright State University is 1179.
Uploading Documents: Navigate to https://wright.force.com. Sign in and then navigate to Home Page. Refer "Required Documents" section to find a list of missing documents. Click on the respective document type and upload the document either in PDF or JPEG format. Once the uploaded document is verified, it will be turned to "Green" and marked as "received".
All documents become the property of Wright State University and cannot be returned to the applicant, photocopied, or forwarded to another institution.
The integrity of everyone's identity is a priority at Wright State University. For that reason, we do NOT accept transcripts, test scores, banking information, or passport copies via email. All applicants are requested to upload the required documents through the applicant portal.
