The UCIE looks forward to an active Spring Semester!

On Wednesday, January 31st, we will be hosting our second Study Abroad Fair of the year.  This time, we will be focusing on our faculty-led Ambassador Programs.  Through these programs, students will have an opportunity to travel to Canada, Central Europe, Costa Rica, China, France, India, Italy, Japan, Malawi, Mexico, Poland, South Africa, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.  These programs are academically diverse crossing the main campus and the Lake Campus.  They are uniquely Wright State opportunities which often develop into springboards for longer-term study abroad opportunities for students and career development opportunities for our faculty members.  Come learn about Wright State abroad by stopping by the Millett Hall Atrium from 11am-2pm.

This spring we will be planning our largest international event of the year, the Wright State International Festival.  Now in its 34th year, it has become known across the community as a way to celebrate the diverse customs of our international students and scholars on campus.  The theme, Global Traditions, is an opportunity for us to learn about the amazing cultures of our 900+ international students coming from over 65 countries around the world.  Make sure you mark your calendar for Saturday, March 24th, from 4pm-8pm in the Student Union Apollo Room.  Also keep an eye out for the call for nominations for our International Student Advocate Award and Global Citizen Awards which will be announced at the event on March 24th.

Finally, I am asking for your help in forming the future international program at Wright State University!  Drop by at any of the Associate Vice President Open Forum times listed below.  All Forums will be held in E186 Student Union, Conference Room of the University Center for International Education.  See dates and times below:
