Wright State Values International Students

The results of last week's elections have resulted in many strong emotions throughout the United States.  We understand that our international students may feel especially vulnerable during
this time and we want to reassure you that Wright State University will remain a welcoming environment for all students regardless of your nationality, culture, religion, race, or background.

The staff of the University Center for International Education are here to serve you, listen to you, and help you feel at home.  Should you ever be at a loss of where to go for support, please
stop by the Center and know that we will always be a resource for you.

Wright State University values our international students and we want your experience to be positive and welcoming.  The University has several additional resources available to you:

1)  Counseling and Wellness Services will be providing drop in times for students to come together and discuss their reactions to our current national climate.  They will be offering two times on Wednesday, November 15.
11:00 am to 12:00 pm at 035 Med Sci building
3:00 pm to 4:00 pm at 163 Student Union

Stay involved in the programs and activities promoting international understanding across campus.  Our programs in UCIE will help you stay connected with other students and provide a support system for you during your time in the United States.  Stay up-to-date through our weekly newsletter, https://www.wright.edu/international-education/international-students/ne..., and Facebook page, www.facebook.com/ucie.
