Important Travel Notice for International Students

Based on the recent Executive Order, we are recommending that all international students reconsider any travel plans abroad during the Spring/Summer semesters 2017. Although this Executive Order does not apply to all countries, there is significant confusion at US Ports of Entry and we do not want our students to be negatively affected by this ban. Summer Health Insurance Waiver

Students who are travelling to their home countries this entire summer 2016 semester and students who are graduating and going on OPT this spring might be entitled for their summer health insurance waiver (subject to approval). Students are required to produce their complete flight itinerary details in case of travelling.

Celebrate the end of the academic year at the 2017 April Craze organized by the University Activities Board (UAB).

April Craze activity Schedule:

Opening Remarks: 10:00 A.M.

Minute to Win It Games: 11:00 AM.

Magician: 12:00 PM.

Street Performer: 12:15 PM.

Amazing Race Competition: 2:00 PM.

After Craze: 8:00 PM - 12:00 AM.

OPT Deadline Information

If you are an international student graduating in Spring 2017 Semester, you may start applying for OPT now. Please use the link below to access and complete all required documents for the OPT application. If you have additional questions after going to the UCIE website you can either email your questions to kimberly.fritz@wright.edu

Walk in hours are held on Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 10:30-11:30 AM and Monday & Thursday from 2:00-3:00 PM

Choose a start date for OPT between 4/30/2017 and 6/29/2017.

Please stop by at any of the times listed above. The final date for spring 2017 graduates to submit application materials for OPT is June 15, 2017.

PLEASE NOTE: If you have any reservations regarding potential graduation for spring 2017 semester, please do not apply for OPT until after semester and grades have been posted.

International Admissions Walk In Hours

Mondays: Noon to 1 P.M.

Tuesdays: 9 to 10 A.M.

Wednesdays: 3 to 4 P.M.

Thursdays: 9 to 10 A.M.

Fridays: 2 to 3 P.M.

Students may come to the UCIE Admissions Office, E244 Student Union, during the following times for walk-ins.

Graduate students, be sure to bring all original semester mark sheets as well as your provisional certificate/degree certificate and anything other documents that were outlined in your admission letter.

Undergraduate students, please remember to bring your high school transcripts, any college transcripts you have, and any other documents that were outlined in your admission letter.
