Feature Alum: Keith St. Pierre
1986 Ed.S.
Superintendent, Sugarcreek Schools, Bellbrook, Ohio
"More people today value education and lifelong learning."
The perspective that shapes Keith St. Pierre's vision for the future is visible just outside his office door.
"I step into a classroom and see the children's excitement and enthusiasm for learning," says St. Pierre, the
superintendent of Sugarcreek schools. "Because our administrative offices are located right in a school, I have
that daily reminder of why I became an educator 27 years ago."
St. Pierre credits team building exercises in the educational leadership program at Wright State with transforming
his management skills into the leadership abilities he is recognized for today. "I want to be sure we have the
strongest program possible for our students and we -- the board, teachers, parents, and administration -- can only do
that by working together as a team." he says.
