Feature Alum: Ron Amos
1976 B.S.B., 1984 M.B.A.
President, U.S. Bank, Dayton, Ohio
"Community service is an extremely important part of my day-to-day job responsibilities."
Being the president of a bank brings with it a commitment to your community, says Ron Amos, president of the Dayton Region of U.S. Bank.
And he demonstrates that philanthropic spirit every day. Amos is chair of the 2002 United Way Campaign and co-chair of the alumni phase of
Wright State University's "Tomorrow Takes Flight" campaign.
A lifelong Dayton resident, Amos built a network and a career from his Wright State connections. His goal was to be the top executive at a
Dayton bank, and after earning a bachelor's degree and an M.B.A. from Wright State, Amos worked his way up to president. "Wright State provided
me a wonderful foundation in business and a network of fellow alumni to build my career."
