"The feeling of accomplishment happens every minute, every hour, every day."
"I love manufacturing cars and trucks!" says Annette Clayton, president of Saturn Corp. The driving
force behind the General Motors subsidiary, which is known for community involvement and teamwork,
Clayton first tested her mettle in automobile manufacturing as a Wright State co-op student in GM's
Moraine assembly plant. With "inspiration, perspiration, and some good fortune," she assembled a
nearly 20-year road map to success with General Motors in production, engineering, plant management,
and quality control.
Today, she is responsible for Saturn's plants in Tennessee and Delaware. The first in her family to graduate
from college, Clayton says Wright State "helped me develop contacts, relationships, and skill sets I am
still using today."
