Subscribe to a University Discussion List

Wright State users can subscribe to the following discussion lists through Office 365; these lists are restricted to wright.edu email addresses. Only members of these lists may send messages to the respective addresses. If you have any questions about these lists, call the CaTS Help Desk at (937) 775-4827, or email helpdesk@wright.edu

The Faculty Discussion List, fac-l@wright.edu
The purpose of this discussion list is to provide Wright State faculty members with a forum to discuss issues and exchange ideas regarding faculty related matters.

The Staff Discussion List, staff-l@wright.edu
The purpose of this discussion list is to provide Wright State staff members with a forum to discuss issues and exchange ideas regarding staff related matters. 

The University Announcement List, announce@wright.edu
All general announcements such as workshops, campus events, and opportunities should be sent to this discussion list. 

Subscribing to a University Discussion List

Watch the Instructional Video
Note: You will be prompted to log in with your Campus 'w' username and password

  1. Log in to your Wright State email at outlook.wright.edu with your Campus 'w' username and password
  2. Click on the Gear icon in the top righthand corner
  3. In the Search box, type in 'List'
  4. Select Distribution Groups
  5. Click the Join icon (under the 'Distribution groups I belong to' section)
  6. Type in the name of the list you would like to subscribe to, either fac-l, staff-l, or announce
  7. Press Enter. Click the name of the list you want to join, and click the Join icon

Note: If you wish to subscribe to multiple lists, repeat the steps above for each list

  1. Log in to your Wright State email at outlook.wright.edu with your Campus 'w' username and password
  2. Click on the Gear icon in the top righthand corner
  3. In the Search box, type in 'List'
  4. Select Distribution Groups
  5. Click on the list you wish to unsubscribe from
  6. Click the Leave icon
