Upcoming System Maintenance for May 2014

CaTS will be conducting system maintenance during the dates and times listed below. See each date for more information on services affected. If you have any questions concerning this maintenance, please contact the CaTS Help Desk at (937) 775-4827, or toll free at 1-888-775-4827.

Saturday, May 3, 2014, 5:00am – 2:00pm


During this time there will be no access to WINGS Express or Banner. This upgrade must be performed due to a late Financial Aid regulatory change and the need to disburse aid to students for Summer Semester the following week. If all goes as planned, the upgrade and verification testing could be completed as early as Noon. CaTS will send an email to the campus community as soon as WINGS Express services are available.

Important Note for Faculty:
Grade posting will NOT be available through WINGS Express or Pilot on Saturday, May 3, 2014, 5:00am – 2:00pm. CaTS will notify the campus community when grade posting becomes available through WINGS Express and Pilot.


Sunday, May 4, 2014, 2:00am – 8:00am

Thursday, May 8, 2014, 11pm - 6:00am


During this maintenance time, you may experience problems when trying to access network resources, specifically the network storage drives, such as (H:), (K:), and (R:) drives. After the maintenance is complete, you may have to reboot your computer in order to access your network drives.


Sunday, May 11, 2014, 6:00am – 9:00am


During this time, there will be no access to any WSU systems or the Internet. Maintenance is scheduled to be completed by 9:00am, but a time extension until Noon may be necessary to complete the maintenance. CaTS will notify the university via email when maintenance has been completed.


Other Updates


The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) will be updating the Pilot system on the following dates/times. During this update, Pilot will be unavailable. If you have any questions concerning this update, please contact the CTL at (937) 775-2885.
