Wireless Connectivity Issues Resolved - 9/23
Today's issues with the "WSU-Secure" wireless connection have been
resolved. If you are still experiencing issues with wireless
connectivity, please contact the CaTS Help Desk at (937) 775-4827 for
WSU-Secure Wireless Unavailable
Currently, the "WSU-Secure" wireless connection is unavailable. CaTS is
aware of the situation and is actively working with the appropriate
vendor to resolve the issue. In the meantime, wireless connectivity is
still available by using the "WSU_EZ_Connect" connection.

The New WINGS is Here!
Starting today, September 15, the new WINGS has become the default portal.
- WINGS Classic will be available through December 2015
- Course and Group Studio are not available in the new WINGS portal
Along with the switch, CaTS has made further updates to the new WINGS portal:
- ‘Banner Workflow’ task counter now refreshes automatically
- 'My Links’ are now sorted alphabetically by category, then by link title
- Added support for restricted polls
- Streamlined ‘Classified Ads’ layout, added ‘Filter’ options

Office 365 Password Change Now Available
The password change feature for Office 365 accounts is now available.

Missing Links in WINGS Beta
Currently, some users are missing bookmarks they have previously added to the 'My Links' section in WINGS beta.

TK20 Unavailable 9/15/15
TK20 will be performing an upgrade on Tuesday, 9/15 from 12am - 9am. Users will not be able to access TK20 during this time.

The New WINGS is Coming Soon
WINGS is upgrading September 15!
Go to WINGS and select WINGS (beta) to start using the new version now. You will experience streamlined Announcements, Alerts, and Feedback services. More information on the new WINGS portal is available on the WINGS Beta Support site.
The current version of WINGS (Classic) will be functional through December 2015.
As a reminder, Course and Group Studio are not available in the new WINGS portal.

Office 365 Access Issues
Currently, Wright State's Office 365 system is experiencing intermittent
access issues. Microsoft has issued the following update concerning this

Current Status: Engineers are investigating an issue in which some
customers may be experiencing problems accessing or using Office 365
Portal services or features. This event is actively being investigated.
More information will be provided shortly.
CaTS will notify the university once Microsoft has provided an updated
WINGS/Office 365 Email Access
Currently, some users who are trying to access their Wright State email
through WINGS are being prompted to sign in with their Office 365
username and password (email@example.com or
firstname.lastname@example.org), instead of being signed on automatically.
If you experience this issue, follow these steps:
1) Enter your Office 365 username (your WSU email address) and password.
- If you do not remember your password, visit the WSU Accounts page and follow the 'How to Change Your Password' instructions for Office 365. Note: This password may be different than that of your "w" account.
2) Click on the "Work or School" account option.
3) Close and reopen your web browser.
4) Log in to WINGS and then click the "Email/Calendar" button. You
should now be automatically logged in to your email.
