Creating WSU Headers using Photoshop
1. Download the Photoshop
version of the header.
2. Open the file in Photoshop. The image has three layers, the WSU letters, the green bar at the bottom and the background.
3. Go to Window | Show Info to bring up the Information window.
4. Change the foreground color to white (RGB 255, 255, 255).
5. Activate the Text tool from the tools window, then move the tool over the the image, at the same time watching the tool p
osition on the Info Window (the x y coordinates in the lower left-hand corner. Position the tool to 175, 67. This will align the text in the green bar.
6. In the Text Window, select the following settings:
- Font: Arial
- 25 points
- Bold
- Anti-Aliased
- Alignment: Center
Depending on the length of your title, the font size my have to be adjusted. If you need any help creating the headers, please contact the Webmaster.
