Mr. Freese is the Principal of Freese & Associates, Inc. and Director of Strategic Development for the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) where he heads up the onsite education program.

He is well recognized as an expert in supply chain management and logistics. He has had extensive experience in the area of warehousing and distribution having managed a network of 18 facilities in North America as well as having consulted on numerous warehouse design and operations projects throughout the world.

He has written numerous articles and delivered over 250 professional presentations to groups in Brazil, China, Dubai, Europe, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Russia, and the United States. He is a frequent speaker at CSCMP, WERC, APICS, NAPM, ProMat, NCOF, eye-for-transport, the PARCEL Forum, the Coppead UFRJ International Forum & Expo Logistica, CAWS (China Association of Warehouse & Storage) and other conferences. He is a frequent guest lecture at a number of universities, a former faculty member of the American Warehousing Association basic supervisory course, a member of the University of Wisconsin’s Advisory Committee on Warehousing, and the Greater Cleveland Hospital Association Committee on Warehousing.

Tom is an active member in the Association of Transportation Law, Logistics and Policy (ATLLP), Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP), International Customer Service Association (ICSA), and Warehousing Education and Research Council (WERC) and the Board of International Advisor of The Supply Chain & Logistics Group (SCLG) of Middle East. He has served on the Governing Board of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP), the Executive Committee of the Warehousing Education and Research Council (WERC), and heads up the CSCMP onsite education program.

He has served as a member of the editorial review board of the International Journal of Physical Distribution and Logistics Management, and currently serves on the editorial review board of the Journal of Business Logistic.
