Certificate: Secure Systems Life Cycle Development

This certificate covers the Secure Systems Life Cycle Development process and examines secure software concepts, requirements, design, implementation, testing, acceptance, and deployment. This certificate may be used in preparation for the CSSLP exam.

Duration: Six week duration including a 1 day on-campus residency.
This course is offered by special request.

Certificate: Advanced Secure Software Engineering & Design

This certificate discusses threat modeling, its primary goals, and its role in the lifecycle process. Students are coached in viewing the user interfaces, Web services, and database accesses as potential vulnerabilities. We explore cryptography and investigate communication threats in constraining user access and actions.

Duration: Six week duration including a 1 day on-campus residency.
This course is offered by special request.

Certificate: Advanced Secure Code Development

Understanding secure code guides the student through adopting best practices to improve the security of applications. Vulnerabilities are explored across a number of operating platforms, including the Web. Students are trained to identify and remediate errors early in the lifecycle.

Duration: Six week duration including a 1 day on-campus residency.
This course is offered by special request.

Certificate: Advanced Secure Software Testing & Verification

Security Testing is about searching for something that we do not know exists and is about making educated guesses based upon the application's behavior in order to find vulnerabilities. After introducing the threats posed by buffer overflow exploits, the certificate delves into the different challenges needed to address secure coding best practices.

Duration: Six week duration including a 1 day on-campus residency.
This course is offered by special request.
