The Unclassified Staff Advisory Council (USAC) is an advisory group that brings matters of workplace concern to the University administration. All unclassified employees are eligible for voluntary election to office or to participate in the various USAC committees, projects, and program activities. Examples, but not an inclusive list, of USAC activities include: recommendations for new or amended University policies and procedures, encouraging and facilitating communication among its members, and providing professional development opportunities.
USAC is an important part of University governance and meets periodically throughout the year. More information may be found on the USAC website. You are encouraged to attend meetings, serve on committees, and seek elected office.
