Wright State recognizes that its ability to grow and provide a broad range of services is due to a loyal and dedicated staff. In appreciation, the university formally acknowledges staff members who have given long-term service, by sponsoring an annual recognition ceremony for employees completing 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, or 35 years of service. In addition, supervisors and department heads are encouraged to recognize outstanding employees regularly within their units. Wright State’s president has also established a process for honoring employees who demonstrate excellence in the workplace. The President’s Award for Excellence is an annual recognition event.
