Temporary Services Contract
Questions and Answers

February 11, 2008

Wright State University has designated Select Staffing (formerly Resolve Staffing Solutions) as our exclusive partner for providing temporary staff. Departments may no longer obtain temporary staff from other vendors.

Who is Select Staffing (formerly Resolve Staffing Solutions)?

Select Staffing is a national corporation with three offices in the Dayton area. They have extensive experience in providing temporary staff to private, public and higher education employers. They were awarded this contract over other temporary employment agencies that responded to our request and submitted competitive bid proposals.

What is the procedure to engage a temporary employee from Select Staffing?

The process is simple. Complete the Select Staffing Job Order form, which is included on this web site and click on the SUBMIT button. Your request will promptly be electronically sent to Select Staffing. You will receive a confirmation call or email. The form may also be completed and faxed to Select Staffing.

The Select Staffing consultant for our account, Lisa Stykes, may be contacted at:

Office: 937 436-2211
Fax: 937 436-2220

Will Select Staffing accept Visa Card payments for services?

Yes. Simply provide Select Staffing your Visa Card number, the card expiration date, and the name of the card holder at the time you finalize your order.

What if Select Staffing cannot provide us with the temporary support staff that we need?

Select Staffing has pledged to respond to Wright State University’s staffing requests within one full business day. At the same time, departments will benefit by giving Select Staffing as much advance notice as is practical so they have ample time to locate the best qualified candidate who will match your needs.

Select Staffing is sure they will be able to fill all our temporary staffing needs in a timely manner. There may be atypical requests that require Select Staffing to fill your job order through one of their sub-vendors. The Select Staffing contractual rate will still apply. Select Staffing will invoice the department even though the temporary staff person was provided by another sub-vendor temporary employment agency.

Are the employees who are assigned by the temporary employment agency, Wright State University employees?

No. The employees provided by the temporary employment agency are employees of Select Staffing or a sub-vendor they have retained to fill a particular position. All temporary staff persons are expected to provide the same level of service and observe Wright State University work rules and policies.

What do we do if the temporary staff person assigned to work in our department by Select Staffing or another temporary employment agency does not have the required skills or just does not meet our work standards?

Immediately notify Select Staffing and let the representative know the problem. If a prompt resolution is not obtained, contact the Department of Human Resources.

We know a former employee who would be perfect and is interested in temporary work in our department.

Human Resources must be notified before an individual can be payrolled through Select Staffing. Please e-mail or call Meltem Kokaly, Employment Manager, at (937) 775-2122 and let her know the name of the person that you are referring and the temporary work assignment you would like him/her to fill. The person you are referring must apply and be accepted by Select Staffing.

Who is responsible for administering the University contract with Select Staffing?

This contract is administered by the Department of Human Resources and the Purchasing Department.
