Q:  Why doesn't the WINGS express statement match my records of vacation?
A:  Classified vacation balances in WINGS Express are accurate.  Unclassified vacation balances in WINGS Express are necessarily one month behind.

Q:  What is vacation truncation, and how does it work?
A:  Employee vacation balances accrue to a maximum balance that varies depending on the type of employee and their length of service.  Truncation is the process of capping of vacation balances so that employees cannot accrue leave beyond the maximum accrual.  Truncation occurs for non-exempt (hourly) employees each pay period.  Truncation occurs for salaried employees on August 31 of each year.
