Performance Appraisals
 

Q:  How often should I expect feedback about my job performance?
A:  Formal performance appraisals are required once a year.  Some departments may conduct performance appraisals throughout the year.  You should expect feedback about your job performance on a regular basis, whether formally or informally.

Q:  Can I appeal a performance appraisal?
A:  A request may be made to have the appraisal reviewed by the employee's rater and/or the personnel officer, and then a review, if necessary by the appointing authority or designee.
