Q:  I have filled out the forms from my packet of information. To whom do I give it and do I need an appoint to turn it in?
A:  If your forms are not completed during the new employee orientation program, please contact your HR Operations Analyst to make an appointment to go over your forms.
 

Who is My HR Operations Analyst?
 

Q:  If my spouse and I are expecting a baby or have some other “existing condition,” will this be covered by WSU medical insurance?
A:  Yes.

Q:  How soon after I start working at WSU will my insurance become effective?
A:  If you are eligible for insurance coverage, your insurance will become effective your first day of employment.

Q:  Can I transfer unused sick leave I accrued from another Ohio public employer to Wright State?
A:  Yes, if transferred within ten years.  Contact your previous employer, ask them to forward in writing, to the Department of Human Resources, your dates of employment, your FTE (part-time, full-time) status, and the number of hours of sick leave that is being transferred to Wright State University.
