Q:  What holidays are observed at Wright State University?
A:  The first day of January, the third Monday in January, the third Monday in February (floated to the last Friday in November), the last Monday in May, the fourth day of July, the first Monday in September, the second Monday in October (floated to December 24), the eleventh day of November, the fourth Thursday in November, and the twenty-fifth day of December are all holidays observed by the university.

Q:  Can a part-time employee be paid for the holiday?
A:  Yes.

Q:  Can I take off for the religious observances that are not scheduled as holidays by Wright State?
A:  Yes, you can use accrued vacation leave for religious observances that are not scheduled as holidays by Wright State University.  Holidays observed by Wright State University are established by Chapter 124.19 of the Ohio Revised Code.
