Frequently Asked Questions
Employment Verification
Q: How can I get a letter of employment verification?
A: Call your HR Operations Analyst. Ask your
Operations Analyst to
provide you with a letter verifying your employment. You will be
asked what information you need in the letter - date of hire, social
security number, annual salary, job title, etc. The Operations
Analyst will let
you know when the letter will be available for you to pick up. If
you prefer that the letter be mailed to your home address, indicate
that to the Analyst. Lending agencies send/fax standard employment
verification forms to the Department of Human Resources for
completion. You should expect that these forms be completed and
returned to the lending agency within three (3) business days. If
you need the information more quickly, contact the Department of
Human Resources to request a "rush."
