Q:  Who do I contact to receive an accommodation for my disability?
A:  Requests for a reasonable accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) are addressed through the Office of Affirmative Action Programs.

Q:  What happens if I become unable to work and do not have enough sick leave to cover the time I will miss?
A:  You may be eligible for Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) leave.  You may be eligible to use accrued vacation and compensatory time, if available.  If you have enrolled in the voluntary short term disability program, you may be eligible for a benefit.  You may also qualify for an unpaid disability leave.

A:  Yes, the University has a voluntary (employee-paid) Short Term Disability program.
