Education and Experience: Master's degree in nursing; Experience in two or more clinical areas, with medical-surgical nursing as a primary area of expertise; Eligibility for Ohio RN license Preferred: Master's degree in nursing with clinical specialty area; Teaching experience in a baccalaureate or higher degree nursing program Note: This position is located at Adena Health System in Chillicothe, OH Position Description: Provide competent teaching demonstrated through articulation of the practice-theory relationship, incorporation of research into clinical practice, use of sound teaching-learning theory and techniques, and constructive evaluation. Utilize creative and varied teaching strategies. Serve as a clinical role model and teaching clinician in specialty areas of nursing. Facilitate a positive, collaborative learning climate for students, including valuing of diversity, integrity, accountability, and ethical and professional behavior among students. Serve on college committees and community and professional organizations. Pursue scholarly activity to maintain clinical expertise.
