Education and Experience:   Earned doctorate in Nursing or related field and Masters degree in Nursing. Seven years of academic experience in nursing education, with at least five years at the graduate level. Previously tenured as Associate Professor or higher. Academic leadership experience in a collegiate nursing program in the U.S.. Current or history of a program of research as evidenced by external research funding. Eligibility for RN licensure in Ohio.

Preferred: Doctorate in Nursing. Doctoral teaching/administration; online educational experience. Experience with DNP, NP, CNS, CNL, and administration education programs. Experience as chair director or lead faculty. Funding from HRSA.


Position Description:  

Provide leadership in the ongoing development of the graduate nursing program within the College of Nursing and Health in concert with the graduate concentration directors and graduate faculty members.

Manage graduate student recruitment, admissions, enrollment, retention, and progression including mediation of graduate student issues with College of Nursing and Health Student Affairs.

Lead recruitment and orientation of faculty teaching in the graduate programs.

Participate in teaching consistent with the mission of the College of Nursing and Health.

Fulfill other responsibilities such as: academic service at the college and university levels, communications with all internal and external customers, and budget and funding management related to the graduate programs.
