Education and Experience:   Applicants must have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoral degree, two or more years of postdoctoral experience and research interests that align with the position description below. Applicants are expected to establish funded, independent research programs and participate in collaborative projects with current faculty.

Preferred:  The research interests of the successful applicant will intersect with those of present faculty studying the regulation of gene expression (Kadakia, Paietta, Paliy), oncogenesis (Berberich), genomics (Markey), or DNA replication and genome instability (Leffak, Liu).

Working Conditions: Standard laboratory research, office and teaching conditions.


Position Description:  

Serving as a principle investigator of a research laboratory. This typically involves being responsible for securing extramural funding, generating and publishing research results, managing and training laboratory personnel.

Classroom and/or laboratory teaching in medical, graduate and undergraduate courses.

Service at the department and/or university level.
