Education and Experience:    Completion of an accredited Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery residency program. Credentials sufficient to be appointed as Chief of the Division which necessitates credible experiences in administration, clinical activity, education and scholarly activities. Assistant Professor level candidates must meet required minimum job qualification requirements listed above and required professional licenses, insurance and certification eligibility. Associate Professor level candidates must meet required minimum job qualification requirements listed above and required professional licenses and insurance, be Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and have at least 5 years experience at the Assistant Professor level. Professor level candidates must fulfill all the requirements of Associate Professor and have at least 5 years experience at the Associate Professor level. License to practice medicine in Ohio. Ability to obtain malpractice insurance. Certification by or eligibility for certification by the American Board of Otolaryngolgy.

Working Conditions: This position requires working at Atrium Hospital in Middletown, Ohio

Position Description:  

Perform high quality Otolaryngologic/Head and Neck surgical activities in the Middletown and Dayton areas as academic faculty of the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine.

Administrate and develop a new Division of Academic Otolaryngology/ Head and Neck Surgery including assisting in recruiting other ENT surgeons.

Scholarly activities such as submission to peer reviewed journals, presentation at local, regional and national surgical societies as well as membership in surgical organizations.

Outreach

Teach and supervise as appropriate medical school residents and students.
