Education and Experience:   Doctorate by time of appointment.  For Associate Professor status: Ability to meet standards of department as identified in bylaws at http://www.wright.edu/facstaff/bylaws/biologicalsciences.html  Sufficient research experience to establish and maintain an independent, extramurally funded research program that uses molecular tools to address questions in ecology or environmental sciences.


Position Description:  

Teaching: Instructional activities in the areas of aquatic, terrestrial, and evolutionary ecology with an emphasis on molecular ecology and/or ecological genomics.

Research: Conduct externally funded research programs that uses molecular and genomic tools to address ecological questions, involving students from the Environmental Sciences Ph.D., Biomedical Sciences Ph.D., Biological Sciences M.S., and Microbiological and Immunology M.S. programs.

Service: Participate in university administration and professional service.
