Education and Experience:   Doctorate by time of appointment.  For Associate Professor status: Ability to meet standards of department as identified in bylaws at http://www.wright.edu/facstaff/bylaws/biologicalsciences.html  Sufficient research experience to establish and maintain an independent, extramurally funded research program.

Preferred:   Molecular cell biologists working in eukaryotic systems with research interests in areas such as chromatin structure and/or remodeling, regulation of gene expression, and RNA processing.


Position Description:  

Teaching: Instructional activities in the areas of cell/molecular biology and/or immunology.

Research: Conduct a funded research program in molecular cell biology, including involvement of students in the Biomedical Sciences Ph.D program, Biological Sciences M.S. program, and Microbiology & Immunology M.S. program.

Service: Participate in university administration and professional service.
