Education and Experience:   Ph.D., M.D. or other doctoral degree.

Preferred:  Previous research in neuroscience, experience with electrophysiological measurements and/or studies of chemorecption or chemical control of ventilation.

Position Description:  

Design and perform electrophysiology experiments using brainstem slices.

Analyze data and produce data summaries and figures for publications and Power Point presentations.

Write abstracts and manuscripts based on the research.

Help to supervise and train summer students and new personnel in the laboratory.
