Education and Experience:   BS in relevant science and up to 4 years related work experience or MS or significant graduate coursework in a relevant science and one to two years of related work experience. Successful candidates will work well in teams. Handling of animals required.

Preferred: Experience with rodents; Experience with EEG or ECoG; Electrocorticography or electroencephalography and/ or liquid chromatography.

Working Conditions: Mixture of team activities and independent work in chemical and animal laboratories.

Note:  Length of appointment is 3 years contingent upon annual funding availability. Special Contract terms and conditions of employment apply. 

Position Description:

Handle animals and inject sarin.

Surgical implantation cortical electrodes.

Measurement of slectrocorticograms.

Sectioning of brain tissue and staining for quantification.

Data analysis, record keeping and writing.

Participate in HPLC analysis of samples.
