Pay Rate:    $11.35/hr

Position Summary:   Support Wright 1 Card operations by supervising the production of Wright 1 ID's and the Wright 1 Center's student workers. In addition, support Vending Services by processing and depositing all cash collections from Vending Services.

Education/Experience:    Associate’s degree and 1 year of fulltime related work experience OR a high school diploma or its equivalent and 3 years of full time related work experience; excellent interpersonal and verbal/communication skills; ability to calculate whole numbers, decimals, fractions and percentages; knowledge and skills to utilize office equipment such as calculators, PC's and a variety of software packages.

Working Conditions: . Current hours for the position are Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.. However, flexibility with hourly assignment may be a necessary condition. Some evening and weekend work required.

Note: Position is part-time with full benefits.

Position Description:  

Wright 1 Card:

  • Responsible for the production of all Wright State University identification cards including but not limited to: student, staff, faculty, alumni, affiliate and Department Wright 1 Cards. Currently there are over 15,000 active identification cards and over 600 Department Wright 1 Cards in use.
  • Updates and maintains Standard Operating Procedures manual. Ensures rules and guidelines for production of ID cards are followed by all staff members.
  • Monitors Wright 1 Center computers used by new and returning students for Internet access to WINGS and WINGS Express. Troubleshoots equipment problems and involves Computing and Telecommunications as needed to resolve issues.
  • In conjunction with the Campus 1 Card/Vending Specialist, hires dismisses student workers for the Wright 1 Card Center staff. Train, supervise and schedules (4) student workers for the Wright 1 Card Center, filling in when necessary.
  • Works with other departments on campus to coordinate special carding events including summer orientation. Maintain contacts and on going communication with other departments to correctly identify "Emergency Response" and "Essential Personnel".
  • Monitors and orders inventory for the Wright 1 Card Center and balances sales on a daily basis. Utilizing the ID Works software, maintain current card formats and create new card formats when needed.
  • Analyzes and maintains monthly reports that generate Vending Services reimbursements to the petty cash funds at the Wright 1 Card Center.

Money Room:

  • Using the Mach V Coin Sorter, Currency Counter and interfacing directly with the MEI (Mars Electronics Inc.). Vending software, count all monies collected daily by Vending route drivers.
  • Balances all monies collected from the five (5) VTS (Value Transfer Stations), located across campus.
  • Prepares and records all monies collected, via Cash Remittance, Bank deposit slips, MEI Vending Software, and coin counter receipts, for deposit to the bank.
  • Able to lift money bags weighing up to fifty pounds.
