Education and Experience: M.D. or D.O. degree; board eligible or board certified in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics; licensable to practice medicine in Ohio. The Instructor level requires board eligibility or board certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. The Assistant Professor level requires board eligibility or board certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and experience teaching at the graduate level. The Associate Professor level requires board eligibility or board certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and ability to perform scholarly functions including supervisory responsibility. Working Conditions: Hospital and Clinical environment with exposure to ill patients. Position Description: Medical student and resident teaching. Clinical and private practice component. Research opportunities, including Medicine-Pediatrics medical education and management programs, state-of-the-art computer use in ambulatory care education, use and limits of diagnostic tests in decision-making, and development of a data base for health services research. Leadership/administrative components: attending committee meetings, administrative decision-making related to practice component and medical school or residency curriculum organization.
