Education and Experience:   Ph.D. in Mathematics or equivalent degree, with specialty in Analysis, (anticipated completion of all requirements by September 1, 2007); a strong commitment to quality teaching and an  excellent research record or potential are both essential.

Preferred:  Research interests compatible with department's current faculty in the area of analysis; successful teaching experience at the university level.

Position Description:   

Teaching undergraduate or graduate courses in mathematics or statistics.

Maintaining an active research program.

Graduate or undergraduate advising, university and professional service.

Community outreach and professional practice.
