Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Salary Minimum:  $40,000/yr

Pay Grade: RS S06

Education and Experience:   Doctorate in education or a social/behavioral science with a knowledge of statistics and quantitative analyses.

Preferred: Experience in substance abuse and/or rehabilitation research. Experience conducting research interviews.

Working Conditions: Some travel to conferences/scientific meetings as well as some local travel required.

Note:  Length of appointment two years. Continuation of position contingent upon grant funding availability. Special Contract terms and conditions of employment apply.

Position Description:  

Data analyses

Create and manage databases.

Conducting/preparing literature reviews.

Research interviewing

Assist in grant development.

Prepare technical reports and contribute to the preparation and writing of journal articles.
