Education and Experience:   Ph.D. in a related field to the expertise in one or more of the following areas prior to August 2007: freshwater biogeochemistry, modeling, hydrology, sediment transport, wetland systems, and/or groundwater-surface water interactions.

Preferred: Active research in freshwater biogeochemistry, modeling, hydrology, sediment transport, wetland systems, and/or groundwater-surface water interactions.

Working Conditions: Laboratory environment and field work.

Note: Position is for 2 years with continuation dependent upon grant funding.

Position Description:  

Manage a research project dealing with watershed processes.

Design original research and method development.

Write proposals and research publications.

Provide research advice and training to graduate students and faculty.
