Education and Experience:   Ph.D. in Chemistry or closely related discipline, qualifications for a tenured appointment as Professor in the department, and an active, internationally recognized, externally funded research program in a complementary field of chemistry.  The successful candidate will also have exceptional interpersonal skills and will provide inspiring leadership that will enhance the department's profile in the areas of research, teaching and extramural funding.

Working Conditions:  Office, classroom, and typical research and teaching laboratories.

  • Oversee department operation.
  • Oversee personnel decisions.
  • Oversee programs.
  • Facilitate and Support research activities and faculty.
  • Act as department liaison.
  • Schedule and lead faculty meetings.

Participate in teaching and research.
