Education and Experience:   Ph.D. in mathematics or equivalent degree (anticipated completion of requirements by September 1, 2006); demonstrated excellence in teaching and potential for high quality scholarship; a strong commitment to quality teaching and excellent research record or potential are both essential.

Preferred:  Research interests compatible with department's current faculty with specialty in discrete mathematics; successful teaching experience at the university level.

Position Description:     

Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in mathematics or statistics.

Maintaining an active research program.

Community outreach and professional practice.

Graduate or undergraduate advising, and university and professional service.
