Employees covered by the Anthem Blue Access PPO, Blue Preferred Primary HMO, and Traditional Health plans have prescription coverage through Express Scripts, Inc. High Deductible Health Plan participants have prescription coverage through Anthem; however Express Scripts is the pharmacy benefit manager for HDHP Participants. HDHP members must use their Anthem card for prescription coverage, whereas PPO, HMO, and Traditional members will utilize an ID card from Express Scripts.
