Hey 2nd Boston!

My name is Lynsey, and I'm going to be your RA, for what will hopefully be one of the best years you have at Wright State! I'm going to be a Sophomore this year, majoring in Financial Services with the intent to triple major in Financial Services, Finance, and Accounting. This will be my second year as an RA at Wright State, and my first year in the Boston, Cedar, and Hawthorn community. At WSU, I'm also involved in the Dean's Student Advisory Board for the Raj Soin College of Business.

I hope you have all had a great summer so far, and are looking forward to moving into your new home! I have a lot of fun things planned for this coming year to make your stay on 2nd Boston more enjoyable, including some fun and educational (yes, they CAN go together!) programs, taking some trips as a floor to places like the Air and Space Museum, and the Dayton Art Institute, and just helping you guys get to know each other.

My advice to you as incoming residential students is to get out there and get to know the people on your floor and in your community. If you are able to put yourself out there the first weekend and get to know people, your stay at Wright State will be made better by all the lasting friendships you'll establish along the way. Also, attend the programs your community's staff puts on! It's a great way to get to know your peers and RA's!
