Welcome to WSU. My name is Joshua Foster and I will be the Community Director for Oak, Maple, and Pine Halls. I grew up in the small town of Cary, Illinois. In 2005, I completed my undergraduate degree in Journalism from THE Ohio State University. During my time at OSU I gained a great wealth of experience as an RA for three years in an all freshmen residence hall on the south side of campus. While I earned my degree in journalism, my undergraduate experience as an RA led me to the realization that working in student affairs is my true passion. Upon graduation I started my first full-time job as a Residence Hall Director at Ohio Dominican University, a small Catholic college in Columbus, Ohio.. At ODU I spent 3 years working with a variety of communities, including first year students and upperclassmen. My tenure at ODU furthered my passion to work with students as they grow and mature into the leaders of tomorrow.

To further my education, I plan to take graduate courses in Student Affairs in Higher Education at Wright State. I am very excited to work at WSU and look forward to receiving many great experiences working with the WSU student population.. The college experience, especially living in the residence halls, can be one of the most exciting times in one?s life. I am just thankful to be a part of that experience and I look forward to helping make that special experience a reality.

If you need anything, please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns that you may have. My office door will also be open to you if needed!

~Josh
