Hello, welcome to all the
new residents and a heart felt welcome back to
all returning residents! If you are not aware
already my name is Franklin Ellis I am the Community
Director for Oak, Maple and Pine halls. I was
born in Florence, South Carolina and have had
the privilege of growing up in many different
places. I was raised in the military which provided
me with the opportunity of living all over the
U.S. and over seas. I have lived in Georgia, Germany,
Arizona, Washington State, Louisiana, New York,
and for the past seven years, Ohio.
I returned to South Carolina, where I attended
Coastal Carolina University in Myrtle Beach. I
graduated with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor
in Philosophy. While attending Coastal, I was
a Resident Assistant for two years and an Assistant
Residence Hall Coordinator for a year along with
many other student leader positions. I have completed
my graduate degree here at Wright State with a
M.S. in Family and Marriage Counseling. I am also
a licensed professional counselor.
I have a broad range of interests. I enjoy reading
a good book, singing, dancing, shopping and getting
to know new people. Some would say that I'm spontaneous,
outgoing, caring and dependable. I'd say that
I'm one of a kind and just enjoy life.
I look forward to spending one more fabulous
year at Wright State and getting to know new
residents and strengthening relationships with
returning residents.
