General Information
To be considered for campus
housing, you must first apply and be admitted to
Wright State University. Campus Housing applications
are processed in order of the date it and the full
prepayment are received, on a first-come, first-served
basis, depending on space availability. The earlier
your get your application in, the more likely you
are to get your housing preferences. We recommend
that you print a copy of your electronic application
upon completion.
By submitting this Application/Agreement
you will be eligible for a space in campus housing.
Once accepted and signed by the Director of Residence
Services or his/her designee, this Application/Agreement
becomes a legally binding document. Your are responsible
for all obligations indicated in the Terms and Conditions
for the duration of the Agreement period. Please
read all documents carefully to avoid any misunderstandings.

STEP
1: Completing Your Campus Housing Application/Agreement
Accuracy
is important. Please complete all applicable information.
Length
of Agreement refers to the quarter in which you
wish to begin living in campus housing. Check only
one quarter.
If
you are under 18 years of age at the time you are
submitting this Application/Agreement, your parent/ guardian
must co-sign along with you. Both signatures are
needed.
Make
certain you have read the Terms and Conditions
and have completed all appropriate informational spaces.
Cancellations
We do
understand that circumstance may arise to change
your housing plans and cancellation may become necessary.
New incoming students in an academic year contract
(Residence Halls and Forest Lane ONLY) must request
cancel IN WRITING. Verbal cancellation to the Office
of Residence Services or other campus departments
is NOT VALID. Resident of campus apartments (College
Park and The Village) are under binding agreement
and are subject to the Replacement Lease Process
as detailed in Section III-A & B of the Campus
Housing Terms & Conditions.
In your
letter requesting cancellation, include your name,
university ID (UID) number, and a brief explanation
of why you wish to cancel. Send to: Wright State

*Residents
requesting to be released must present their request
in writing to Appeals Board. For cancellation
policy, see Section II-B and C of the Campus Housing
Terms and Conditions.
STEP 2: Completing your
Preference Information
Please
complete the Preference Information for yourself
for greater accuracy. Having a family member complete
it for you could hamper matching you with your desired
preferences and/or requested roommate(s).
Provide
all requested information accurately and completely,
and supply documentation where specified.
Preferences
are honored whenever possible, but are not guaranteed
in any way.
If any information is omitted,
it will be assumed that you have no preferences,
and your Application may not be accepted.
If you are requesting
roommates, make sure to include their social security
number. Requests made without social security numbers
will not be honored. Matching roommate applications
must be received before April 1st to be considered.
Sign and
date the preference sheet.
STEP
3: Mailing your packet and prepayment
- Make
sure that your Application/Agreement and Preference
Sheet have been signed by you and your parent/guardian
if necessary.
- Submit
the Application/Agreement and Preference Sheet
along with the $150 prepayment (made payable
to Wright State University). Mail to:
Office of Residence Services, Wright State University,
3640 Colonel Glenn Hwy., Dayton, OH 45435-0001.
