Offices of Disability Services & Residence Services
The Office of Disability Services provides programs, services, and activities that allow students with disabilities to participate in all facets of university life according to their unique abilities and interests. This commitment ensures that people with documented disabilities can realize their full potential. From the underground tunnel system to test proctoring, the university strives for the elimination of architectural, programmatic, and technological barriers that prevent qualified individuals with disabilities from obtaining a college education. The Office of Disability Services offers support programs in academics, technology, career and vocational skills development, community education regarding disabilities, credited classes designed to meet disability-related needs, and physical and personal assistance. Most services are provided to students at no cost who qualify for university assistance.
In addition to the services available at Wright State University, the Offices of Disability Services and Residence Services seek to provide students with disabilities with the same great housing opportunities. Each of our housing communities is accessible and its location allows for easy access to the WSU tunnel system and the bridges to campus.
