Nicholas Kristof
"The World as I See It "

Nicholas Kristof, a two-time winner of the Pultizer Prize, writes columns for the New York Times that appear each Sunday and Tuesday. He was one of the first to sound the alarm on the genocide in Darfur and has visited that region nine times in an effort to call attention to the crisis. He was also an early opponent of the Iraq War and is well-known as an advocate of women's rights in the developing world. In particular, he has helped lead the fight against sex trafficking in countries such as Cambodia, India, and Pakistan.

Kristof and his wife, Sheryl WuDunn, are authors of China Wakes: The Struggle for the Soul of a Rising Power (1995) and Thunder from the East: Portrait of a Rising Asia (2000) .

Eleanor Clift
"An Insider's View of Washington"

Eleanor Clift is a contributing editor for Newsweek magazine. She reports on the White House, presidential politics, and a variety of national issues. Clift is a regular panelist on the nationally syndicated show The McLaughlin Group, and a political analyst for the Fox News Network. Playing herself as a member of The McLaughlin Group, she has appeared in several films, including Independence Day, Murder at 1600 Pennsylvania, and Dave, as well as the CBS series Murphy Brown.

Clift's book Founding Sisters and the 19th Amendment (2003) tells the story of the long struggle for women to gain the right to vote. The book accompanied the 2004 HBO movie Iron Jawed Angels, starring Hillary Swank and Anjelica Houston.
