Honors classes are very different. There are so many facets of each topic to explore that they appeal to all majors. The classes are smaller, so you have more opportunities to participate and you really get to know your professors and classmates.
During my freshman year, my honors biology recitation visited the Dayton Community Blood Center and Tissue Services. We learned about why blood and tissue donations are important and how to become a donor.
Going to Italy was a life-changing experience. We were able to learn so much more about the history, art, architecture, and culture than we ever would by just sitting in a classroom.
