Wright State University offers various forms of financial aid to eligible students. The application process and deadline dates vary depending on the type of aid. Grants

Tuition Remission
A tuition remission is a form of gift aid that does not have to be repaid. Tuition remission is typically awarded to an employee or dependent of an employee as a benefit for services rendered to WSU. See WSU's Human Resources website for more information.

Campus-Based Loans
Campus-based loans are student loans for which WSU is the lender. A loan is a form of aid that must be repaid. To apply for campus-based loans offered by WSU, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA is used to determine the students' financial need.
NOTE: For the 2009-2010 aid year (Summer 2009 through Spring 2010) Wright State University has replaced WSU campus-based loan program funding with gift aid funding, primarily in the form of the WSU Need-Based Grant. |
