Financial Aid Information for Transfer Students:
Student with ParentsTransferring to a new college can often be an overwhelming process. Wright State University's Office of Financial Aid is here to provide any assistance you may need to establish your financial aid eligibility at WSU. Please keep in mind that the Office of Financial Aid communicates to students primarily through WSU e-mail which is available via WINGS. Visit Wright State's Homepage to apply for admission to Wright State as either an undergraduate or graduate student. Admitted students may also track the status of their financial aid and access their Award Notice via WINGS Express. For more information about WINGS and WINGS Express, visit the WINGS Resource Center.

Financial Aid Checklist:
  • Apply for admission to WSU.
  • Apply for aid. (If you’ve already filed your FAFSA for the aid year but did not list WSU as a school of choice on your FAFSA, add WSU to your FAFSA online via FAFSA on the Web. WSU’s school code is 003078.)
  • Cancel any aid in process at your previous school. (Aid does not transfer from school to school. You must apply for aid anew at WSU.)
  • Regularly check your WSU e-mail.
  • Complete any additional requirements listed on WINGS Express.
  • Approve your awards on your Award Notice via WINGS Express.
  • If you accept a student loan, see our Loan Processing page for the additional steps needed to secure your loan. NOTE: Undergraduate students cannot accept a Parent PLUS Loan. Parents who wish to apply for a PLUS Loan can visit our Federal Direct Parent PLUS Loan page for more information on how the parent can apply.
