Completed in 1986, the Mathematical and Microbiological Sciences Building is home to classrooms, offices, and computer laboratories of the Mathematics and Statistics department.

Fawcett Hall, the fourth and final building of Founders' Quadrangle, is an instructional facility. Completed in 1967, it was named in honor of Novice G. Fawcett, who was president of Ohio State University during Wright State’s early years, and who devoted his time and effort toward founding and directing this new institution.

Diggs III Laboratory for Life Science Research was funded in part by a gift from Matthew Diggs Jr., a former university trustee, with a deep interest in life sciences research, and his wife, Nancy. The building was named in memory of their son. Opened November 8, 2007, the highly energy-efficient building was officially rated LEED NC-Gold by the U.S. Green Building Council in 2008. This prestigious award places Wright State University at the forefront of green building design, since Diggs Laboratory is the first laboratory in Ohio to receive the LEED-NC Gold status.
The Neuroscience Engineering Collaboration (NEC) Building houses the collective brainpower of almost 30 top neuroscientists, engineers and clinicians and their teams. The four-story, L-shaped structure features two wings, one for neuroscience and one for engineering, that flank a central atrium. The building is honeycombed with laboratories and includes offices, conference rooms and a 105-seat auditorium for research symposiums.

My research, as part of the Rúa Lab, is focused on investigating the benefits of using sediments dredged from the Toledo Harbor of Lake Erie as an agricultural soil amendment. Through our greenhouse experiment, we are evaluating the most beneficial application rate of dredged sediments to agricultural soils for improving corn performance. We are also comparing different experimental growth
conditions such as de-watered (weathered) dredge vs. fresh dredge and pesticide treated seeds vs. nontreated seeds. Outcomes from this research will be important for improving degraded soils to use for
agricultural practices.
This classroom is a specially designed classroom based on education research. Students work
in groups of 3-6 to engage in scientific practices. Students participate in argumentation, explanation,
problem solving to more deeply understand the material.

Welcome to the Academic Advising office. All students of the College of Science and Math are assigned one of three available advisors. Students will work with advisors to signup for classes each semester.
This a specialized facility to enable microfabrication of sensors and other devices by using positive airflow and HEPA filtering. The structure is designed to filter and prevent the ingress of airborne particles down to the micron scale.
The Open Collaboration Space in M&M 152 is used by students in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics to study and work together solving problems. The space also houses extra-curricular activities of the Math Club, the Actuarial Science Club, and the Dayton Area Math Teacher Circle gatherings. It is a space where visiting local industry partners speak about job opportunities in the area and give individualized advice to our students on how to prepare themselves for the job market.
