The time change for "fall back" is nearly upon us!
Changing our clocks remind us to change out the alkaline batteries in smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
Some facts many consumers may not know are:
- Your home should contain two different types of smoke detectors, if possible.
- Smoke detectors should be replaced every 10 years!
- Smoke detectors are recyclable! Check here to see what brands accept old detectors.
