WSU Service Knitting Circle
Fridays, Noon -1:00 p.m.
162 Millett Hall

Do you knit or crochet or wish you could learn? Do you want to help make a difference in people’s lives on campus and in the community while taking part in a centuries-old tradition of service?  The WSU Service Knitting Circle is open to all interested faculty, staff, students, alums and community members.

Inspired by Betty Christiansen’s book Knitting for Peace: Make the World a Better Place One Stitch at a Time, we plan to meet every Friday for an hour of peaceful crafting, making items for local agencies (Greene County Children Services, Michael's House, Family Violence Prevention Center, Catholic Social Services for Refugees, etc.).

Please bring materials with you. If you are a learner, bring an appealing acrylic yarn and needles or hook and we’ll get you started. For more information, contact the Women’s Center at 775-4524.
